Shuvatara Suites & Spa, Thamel

Everyone at the hotel was as friendly as a friend, always offering us so much help. I’m truly grateful to them! As we were leaving, they even gave us their heartfelt blessings — it was unforgettable. The hotel is not in a busy area, so you won’t hear noisy traffic or honking, yet it’s very close to the city center, making it super convenient! There are also many delicious restaurants and beautiful gardens nearby, so the surroundings are great for daily living. I highly recommend staying here — every morning you can go up to the rooftop to enjoy the stunning view and a delicious breakfast.

On our return from Pokhara and Chitwan, we spent two nights at this hotel before returning to Türkiye, and we wished we had spent all our nights there. We had a much better hotel experience than the 5-star The Malla Hotel, where we first arrived. The breakfast was wonderful, both in variety and taste. We also enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant. The staff was very attentive and helpful. When we return to Kathmandu again in october we will definitely stay at this hotel without any further adventure. The hotel is new and clean, its location is excellent and quiet, and it even has a refrigerator, which even the other 5-star hotel we paid twice the price didn't have. There's also a free airport transfer. We definitely recommend this hotel.

All excellent! I was given a beautiful room with a view of the mountains and l extended my stay, it was my first time in Kathmandu and l stayed for 4 nights, couldn’t ask for more. I was picked up at the airport. All the staff is so kind. Breakfast is a buffet with different options everyday. Perfectly clean. I had complimentary spa access which was relaxing. The location is more than perfect, in Thamel but in a quiet street, where there is a small grocery, a beauty salon, a good restaurant, a small eatery and a yoga studio and a cafe (All recommended) They even kept my luggage for days free of charge. Thank you so much.

The hotel is around 6 months old at the time of our stay. The room is clean, spacious with good layout and modern sanitation. Very comfortable to rest in as it comes with everything you need: mini fridge, safe, kettle, hair-dryer. The room can be cleaned daily if you request for it. The breakfast here, contrary to some reviews, is in my opinion fantastic and they change the food offered daily. The restaurant staff here are wonderful, friendly and obliging too. It makes your first meal of the day so pleasant. The roof top dining area is a bonus attached to a cosy indoor restaurant We highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the Thamel area

Shuvatara Suites and Spa exceeds all expectations. First of all, they organized a transfer from the airport (included in the price) and an early check-in which was a blessing after 8 hours of flying and early morning arrival. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Air conditioning works perfectly, great shower with hot water, nice and soft bedding, plenty of lighting scenarios. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and there are many options for eggs and beverages. The staff were super kind and helpful, always there to answer questions and guide the guests through hotel services. Unfortunately I could not enjoy the spa being very tired, but sauna & jacuzzi available free of charge are definitely a treat. The restaurant and rooms have a breathtaking views as well. The area around the hotel is well-maintained and pretty. I easily found a yoga studio, coworking space, coffee and food spots within 5 minutes walk. So if you are jet lagged like I am, you’ll easily be able to stay within a short radius and not get yourself too tired. I totally recommend to stay here!
